We are open–every Saturday night! Our dances are a great place to gather with family and friends, and you will make many more new friends at Czech Hall. If you are new to polka dancing, here are a few basics! Dancers move counterclockwise on the dance floor. People learning to dance (or moving slower) generally stay on the outer circumference of the dance floor. No one (especially children) should be running, sitting, or lying on the dance floor when the music is playing. At the end of a song, dancers should face the stage and applaud the band! If you have a request, take a note to the band. Finally, get out and try. It is just like riding a bike or swimming–you will never learn if you don’t try! And each time you try, you will be better and better 🙂
